The fish breeding unit of Haritha bio park is approved by the Marine Products Exporters Development Authority (MPEDA)
Govt. of India.
There are more than a hundred varieties of ornamental fishes breeding inside thirty fish tanks and more than ten ponds.
Aligatorgar and Arapima the largest among fresh water fishes can also be found here.

Hi-Tech farming is one among the most looked into farming technique now in kerala. The main aim of Hi-Tech farming is to get most of the cultivation potential of the land. It is implemented by the initiative given by the Kerala State Horticulture Mission and Department of Agriculture, Kerala.
The farming technique looks up on the most appropriate utilization of the land and water supply available. This technique has become more useful now a days because of the limited availability of cultivatable land and water.

Precision agriculture (PA) or satellite farming or site specific crop management (SSCM) is a farming management concept based on observing, measuring and responding to inter and intra-field variability in crops.
Precision farm has a Fertilization and irrigation system developed with the help of SHM which is used for open cultivation of vegetables.

Ornamental Birds

Birds always attract people by their attractive looks and movements. It is always good to hear their voice, which helps us in relieving tension. They are also given a major reference in India epics and in Bible.
Beside these ornamental birds Haritha Park is also an inhabitant for poultry and Kadaknath (Karinkozhi).
Kadaknath is only Black Meat Chicken (B.M.C.) Breed of India. It is a native bird of Madhya Pradesh, reared mainly by the tribal communities of Bhil and Bhilala.
